Patna: Patna Women’s College hosted a guest lecture on Monday under the aegis of its Music Club, Sur Sangam. The session, titled Sangeet Samarpan: A Devotion to Our Culture, featured Anshika, a music teacher from Edulectics International, a British school, as the guest speaker.

She underscored the unifying, healing, and inspiring qualities of music, with a special focus on the importance of Indian classical music and the intricate variations of sargam.
Her engaging and interactive presentation sparked a lively Q&A session, with students actively participating and gaining deeper insights into musical traditions and techniques. The event was coordinated by Ranjan and Komal.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks from Shachi Singh, Treasurer of the Music Club, who expressed her gratitude for Anshika’s presence and valuable contribution to the event.
