RLJP Leader Chandan Singh Joins JD (U) Ahead of Bihar Elections

Patna: Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) leader Chandan Singh has joined the Janata Dal (United) in a significant political shift ahead of the Bihar assembly elections. State JD (U) president Umesh Kushwaha welcomed Singh into the party at the JD (U) office, where chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar was also present.

Singh, formerly the RLJP’s state spokesperson, cited Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s development agenda as his reason for switching parties. “I have been impressed by Nitish Kumar’s work for Bihar’s progress. It is an honour to join JD (U), and I am eager to contribute,” he said.

Kushwaha expressed his enthusiasm about Singh’s induction, stating: “Chandan Singh is welcome in the party. He has made the right decision at the right time. His presence will strengthen our organisation.”

Singh is reportedly being considered for the role of JD (U)’s state spokesperson. In a recent interview, he praised JD (U)’s commitment to Bihar’s development and pledged to work with complete dedication.
