The Department of Botany kicked off the festivities with a “Herbify Life: Nourish and Flourish with Herbs” themed competition-cum-exhibition. Fifteen teams from Patna Women’s College and other local institutions presented innovative herbal products, emphasizing the benefits of natural remedies. The event, held at the Open Air Stage Hall, was judged by Dr. Ritu Narayan (L.N. Mishra Institute, Patna), Dr. Pallawi Ambreesh Kumar (Head, BBA Department, PWC), and Geetanjali Choudhary (Assistant Professor, Fashion Designing, PWC). The exhibition provided a platform for students to demonstrate their research and creativity in promoting a healthier lifestyle through herbal solutions.

The Department of Biotechnology organized a two-day Mushroom Cooking Competition & Exhibition, engaging PG Semester II and UG Semester VI students. Seventeen teams from Patna Women’s College and B.N. College participated, showcasing their culinary skills and knowledge of mushroom benefits. The event featured innovative mushroom-based dishes and models demonstrating the versatility of mushrooms. Judges Dr. Zareen Fatima (Department of Economics, PWC), Dr. Nisha Kumari (Department of Home Science, PWC), and Dr. Shazia Rahman (Department of Advertising & Marketing Management, PWC) evaluated the entries. The exhibition highlighted the nutritional value and sustainable potential of mushrooms.
