Two Youths Shot Dead in Saran’s Jalalpur Area, Police Launch Investigation

Saran: Two youths were brutally shot dead near a pond in Makhanpura village under the Jalalpur police station area late Friday night. The assailants tied their hands before shooting them in the head and chest, and their bodies were later dumped near the pond. The gruesome incident has sparked tension in the area.
On Saturday morning, local residents spotted the bodies near the pond along GS Bangra – Makhanpura Road and immediately alerted the police. Upon reaching the crime scene, officers recovered a motorcycle along with a mobile phone from the pockets of the deceased, which helped in informing their families.
According to initial investigations, the victims were identified as residents of Kawalpura village under the Masrakh police station area. Their families, upon receiving the tragic news, rushed to the spot.
Jalalpur police officials confirmed that they have begun a thorough investigation into the double murder. “We are analyzing all possible angles, and efforts are being made to identify the culprits. The victims’ families have been informed, and we are collecting evidence to solve the case at the earliest,” said the Jalalpur police station chief.
While the motive behind the killing remains unclear, authorities suspect personal enmity or gang-related violence. The incident has raised serious concerns about law and order in the region.
