Bihar: Nalanda DM Resolves 23 Grievances in Janata Darbar, Issues Directives for Swift Action
Bihar Sharif – DM Shashank Shubhankar addressed the grievances of 23 individuals during the Janata Darbar in the Collectorate Chamber on Monday, providing necessary directives to the concerned officers for resolution.
In one case, a resident from Paindapur in Ruhui block sought the DM’s intervention to reclaim encroached Gair Majrua land. The DM promptly instructed the District Public Grievance Redressal Officer to address the applicant’s concerns under the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act.
Another applicant from Sarmera, a remote block in the district, appealed in the Janata Darbar for the inclusion in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin. The DM directed the applicant to meet with DDC Vaibhav Srivastava, providing instructions for further action.
An individual reported an attempt to seize the land of Gosai Math in Bihar Sharif by anti-social elements. Responding swiftly, the DM instructed CO Bihar Sharif and the officer in charge of the relevant police station to investigate the matter and take necessary action.
In a separate request, an applicant urged the DM to extend the benefits of the incentive scheme to the children of registered workers. The DM promptly directed the Labor Superintendent to initiate the required actions.
The remaining cases were forwarded for hearings to the court of the District Grievance Redressal Officer, while specific cases were transferred to the concerned officers with appropriate instructions.
The Janata Darbar proved to be an effective platform for citizens to voice their concerns and seek redressal from the district administration.
