Patna: A major gathering, the Vikasit Bihar Sankalp Sabha 2025, is set to take place on March 22 at Bapu Sabhagar, Patna, marking the fourth anniversary of the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign. The event aims to solidify a collective vision for a developed Bihar by 2047, ensuring that no one needs to leave the state for education, employment, or healthcare.
The event will also see the presentation of the Bihar Preranasrot Samman 2025 to individuals who have made significant contributions to education, social equity, and entrepreneurship in the past four years.
The Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign envisions a future where Bihar reclaims its historical prestige and becomes a hub of opportunity. It has grown into a mass movement, uniting Biharis across caste, gender, and ideological lines. More than 1.72 lakh people are directly connected through WhatsApp groups, with active participation from women, youth, farmers, doctors, and social workers.
As part of the initiative, 24 free education centres operate across 13 districts, serving nearly 2,000 economically disadvantaged students. Nineteen of these centres, known as Gargi Pathshalas, are run by women. Additionally, the campaign seeks to spur entrepreneurship, aiming to establish at least five successful startups in each district by 2028, each providing employment to over 100 people.
A series of conferences and summits have been organised to support Bihar’s startup ecosystem, including the Bihar Entrepreneurship Conference in Delhi (2021), Vibrant Bihar Global Conclave (2022 and 2023), and Bihar @ 2047 Vision Conclave in Delhi (2023 and 2024). The campaign has also reached Bihari entrepreneurs across cities like Dubai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Vadodara through Bihar Samvad programmes.
Over 2,000 events have been held worldwide to spread awareness, including the Mahabharat Jan Samvad, launched in December 2023. These public dialogues have drawn massive participation, with over 50,000 attendees at key events in Begusarai, Ara, Sasaram, Chhapra, and Vaishali.
In healthcare, more than 250 free health camps have been organised by Jeevak Adhyay, benefiting over 40,000 people. The campaign’s long-term goal is to establish local chapters in every panchayat and ward of Bihar by 2028.
