The funds have been allocated across districts, with Araria receiving Rs 200 crore, Katihar Rs 148 crore, Kishanganj Rs 124 crore, Darbhanga Rs 135 crore, West Champaran Rs 32 crore, and Purnia Rs 87 crore.

The proposed projects, approved at the block and district levels before being reviewed by the Chief Secretary, primarily include the construction of hostels, auditoriums, multipurpose indoor halls, residential schools, and polytechnic buildings.

The Chief Secretary also directed the Madhubani, Gopalganj, and Vaishali administrations to submit project proposals under the scheme.

Senior officials from the Education Department, Building Construction Department, Finance Department, and Bihar State Building Construction Corporation Ltd., along with district officials from the six beneficiary districts, attended the meeting.
