Patna: The Bihar Congress intensified its efforts to bolster organisational strength on Monday, with a series of high-level meetings at the party’s state headquarters, Sadakat Ashram, in Patna. Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru and state president Rajesh Kumar led discussions with senior party leaders, MLAs, MLCs, and former legislators as part of a broader strategy to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure ahead of upcoming elections.
During the meeting, Allavaru emphasised that active party workers would be prioritised at all levels, from block to state committees. He reiterated the party’s commitment to completing all organisational committees soon, underlining the urgency of preparing for the electoral battle ahead. Seeking inputs from senior leaders, the leadership engaged in a brainstorming session aimed at refining Congress’s approach in Bihar.
Addressing the gathering, state Congress president Rajesh Kumar stressed the importance of unity and collective effort, asserting that the party’s organisational framework could only be strengthened through the cooperation of all workers and leaders. He assured that dedicated workers would be recognised and given key responsibilities.
Following this, a separate meeting was convened with all district presidents of the state, where Allavaru and Rajesh reiterated their commitment to empowering active workers and reinforcing the party’s presence at the grassroots level. They urged district leaders to intensify efforts on the ground and mobilise party cadres effectively.
The meeting saw the presence of several key Congress figures, including Leader of Congress Legislature Party Dr Shakeel Ahmed Khan, AICC secretaries Sushil Kumar Pasi and Shahnawaz Alam, former state Congress president Prof Ramjatan Sinha, as well as senior leaders Poonam Paswan, Chandan Yadav, Tauqeer Alam, Kaukab Qadri, Ajit Sharma, and others. A host of party MLAs, former ministers, district presidents, and senior office-bearers also participated in the deliberations.
