Nalanda: Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Minister of Bihar, Dr. Sunil Kumar, inspected Hiranya Parvat in the Badi Hill area of Bihar Sharif assembly constituency. During the visit, he announced that the foundation stone for modern facilities at Hiranya Parvat Park would be laid on April 6, coinciding with Ram Navami. The development will include fountains, a cafeteria, seating sheds, and an open gym to enhance the park’s appeal and promote eco-tourism.
Dr. Sunil Kumar reviewed the detailed plans for beautification and development of the park, focusing on improving facilities for visitors. Discussions were held on essential services such as gyms, water tanks, accessible toilets, and a passenger rest house. He also instructed forest department officials to take necessary steps to enhance the area’s natural beauty, making it a key tourist attraction.
Local residents raised concerns about the ongoing water crisis in the Hiranya Parvat region, particularly in Mansoor Nagar and Chhoti Hill, where the government’s tap water scheme has not yet reached many households. Amresh Kumar, District Media Incharge of the Bharatiya Janata Party and outgoing Bihar Sharif Nagar President, highlighted the worsening water shortage during the summer months.
In response, Dr. Sunil Kumar assured residents that efforts were underway to address the water issue. He stated that discussions had already been held with the city commissioner to expedite a solution. He reiterated his commitment to resolving public grievances and ensuring basic amenities for the people of his constituency.
The upcoming development of Hiranya Parvat Park is expected to transform the area into a significant tourist destination while also improving local infrastructure. Alongside enhancing the park’s beauty, the initiative aims to create better recreational spaces and employment opportunities for residents.
