Sabour: The first batch of students from the College of Agricultural Biotechnology (CABT), Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, has made a significant mark in national-level competitive exams, underscoring the institution’s rapid rise in academic excellence.
Out of 26 students in the batch, 10 have successfully cleared the IIT Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT-JAM), while eight have qualified for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), two of India’s most competitive postgraduate entrance exams. Their success, within just three years of the college’s establishment, highlights CABT’s growing reputation for academic rigor.
Among those who cleared IIT-JAM are Kundan Kumar, Priti Sinha, Abhijeet Kumar, Shreyansh Singh, Ananya Singh, Shambhavi, Monika Raj, Avinash Kumar, Seema Kumari, Shubham Kumar, and Shreya Sharma. Meanwhile, students who excelled in GATE include Priti Sinha, Shreyansh Singh, Shambhavi, Ananya Singh, Abhishek Kumar, Sonam Kumari, Shubham Kumar, Sarina Khatoon, and Srishti Raj. Many of them have secured top ranks, opening doors to prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
The GATE and IIT-JAM exams are known for their rigorous selection process, with thousands of candidates competing for limited seats in postgraduate programs across engineering, technology, and sciences. The achievement of CABT students in these exams is a testament to their hard work and the institution’s academic standards.
