Doctor Found Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances at Patna Hospital, Family Alleges Foul Play

Patna: A 32-year-old doctor, Jakaul Khan, working at Indravati Devi Hospital in Digha, Patna, was found dead under suspicious circumstances late Tuesday evening. Following the incident, his family lodged an FIR on Wednesday, accusing two doctors and three nursing staff of involvement in his death.
Upon receiving the information, Digha police reached the hospital, and forensic experts began their investigation. However, all the accused staff members fled the hospital late at night. The police have sent the doctor’s body for postmortem to determine the cause of death.
Jakaul Khan, originally from Motihari, East Champaran, Bihar, had been working at Indravati Devi Hospital for some time. His family has alleged serious foul play in his death, prompting the police to launch a search operation for the accused medical staff.
Digha police station in-charge Brajkishore Singh confirmed that an investigation is underway and all angles of the case are being examined. Police teams are conducting raids to locate and arrest the suspects. The forensic team is also collecting evidence to ascertain the circumstances leading to the doctor’s death.
