Patna : A 25-year-old man in Patna’s Agamkuan area was found dead by suicide on Wednesday, reportedly after a dispute with his wife over playing the mobile game PUBG.
The deceased, was discovered hanging in his rented home in Khemnichak. According to family members, he had returned to Patna from Delhi a few days ago and had frequently argued with his wife over his gaming habits.
Kumar’s wife, who had gone to her maternal home for Chaiti Chhath, was not present at the time of the incident. Relatives stated that he had previously threatened to take his own life during similar arguments. The couple had been married for a year.
Local police, who were alerted to the scene, have sent Kumar’s body for postmortem at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital. “Preliminary investigations suggest suicide, but we are examining the case based on statements from family members,” said an officer from the Agamkuan police station.
