IIM Bodh Gaya To Hold 7th Convocation, Marks First Batch Of Specialised MBA Graduates

Bodh Gaya: IIM Bodh Gaya will host its 7th Convocation on April 5, a landmark event celebrating the achievements of 471 graduates across its MBA, MBA (Digital Business Management), and MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management) programmes. This year’s ceremony will be particularly significant as it marks the graduation of the inaugural batches of two specialised programmes introduced to meet evolving industry needs.

The flagship MBA programme, which remains the cornerstone of the institute’s academic offering, will see 310 students receive degrees this year. Among them are 34 students who completed international exchange programmes at universities abroad, highlighting the institute’s growing global engagement.

For the first time, degrees will also be awarded to 91 students from the MBA (Digital Business Management) programme and 70 students from the MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management) programme. The Digital Business Management course focuses on areas such as digital strategy, analytics, fintech, and business transformation, preparing students for the demands of a tech-driven global economy. Meanwhile, the Healthcare Management course equips graduates with skills in hospital administration, public health policy, and healthcare innovation, addressing the sector’s urgent need for capable professionals.

The convocation will be attended by faculty, families, and dignitaries, with Arun Kumar Singh, Chairman and CEO of ONGC, as Chief Guest. Dr. Janmejaya Sinha, Chairman of Boston Consulting Group (India) and a member of the Board of Governors at IIM Bodh Gaya, will also grace the occasion. Keynote addresses will aim to inspire the graduating cohort as they begin the next chapter of their professional journeys.

The ceremony will culminate in the formal presentation of degrees and academic awards, honouring the hard work, perseverance, and excellence of the students who now join the growing alumni of one of India’s youngest but fastest-rising IIMs.
