Patna : A fresh round of public sector recruitment has kicked off this week, with the Bihar government and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) opening applications for hundreds of positions spanning health and technical fields.
4,500 CHO Posts Open in Bihar
The State Health Society (SHS) Bihar has invited applications for 4,500 Community Health Officer (CHO) roles under the National Health Mission. The drive aims to strengthen grassroots healthcare delivery across the state.
Eligible applicants must hold a B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree, along with a Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from a recognised institution. Candidates should be aged between 21 and 42 years as of April 1, with age relaxations applicable for reserved categories under government norms.
Applications open on May 5 and close on May 26. Selected CHOs will receive up to Rs40,000 per month in remuneration.
ISRO Offers 75 Apprenticeship Opportunities
ISRO is also recruiting for 75 apprenticeship positions in categories such as Graduate Apprentice Trainee (46 posts), Diploma Apprentice Trainee (15), Diploma in Commercial Practice (5), and Trade ITI (9).
Applicants must have completed their relevant qualifications in 2022, 2023 or 2024. The age limit ranges from 15 to 24 years as of January 1. Stipends for selected candidates will range between Rs7,000 and Rs9,000 per month. The application deadline is April 21.
