Patna : A brother and sister were critically injured in a late-night shooting incident in the Janipur area of Patna. The assailants reportedly entered their home and opened fire before fleeing the scene. Both victims are currently undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna.
The injured have been identified as Anish Kumar, also known as Dilip Kumar (40), and his sister AB Kumari (30), both residents of Hulas Chak. According to police sources, Kumari, an employee at Nalanda Medical College, sustained gunshot wounds to her hand and chest. Her brother Anish was shot in the leg.
Authorities responded swiftly after receiving information about the attack.
