The Bihar Education Department has sought detailed compliance reports from private universities on fee structure, admission norms, NEP-2020 implementation, and digital systems like ABC-NAD and Samarth Portal.

Patna: The Bihar Education Department has asked several private universities and colleges, including Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College, Lions Seva Kendra Hospital, All India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology, and Ritnand Beloved Education Foundation, to submit detailed compliance reports on multiple academic and administrative fronts.

Officials have directed institutions to provide proof of government approval for their regulations, adherence to reservation norms, fee structures, and the formation of a fee regulatory committee. They must also show evidence of transparent admission processes and compliance with fee waivers where applicable.

The department has also sought documentation regarding the creation and timely execution of academic, exam, and sports calendars, the establishment of dynamic and secure university websites, and the operational status of student placement cells.

Institutes have further been asked to demonstrate implementation of provisions under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, including frameworks like NCRF, CBCS, ABC-NAD, and the use of platforms such as the Samarth Portal. Annual audit reports and records of educational innovations must also be submitted.
