Siwan/Patna: The Siwan district administration is on high alert ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled rally on June 20, with extensive security and logistical preparations underway. In anticipation of the high-profile political event, 25 officers from the Bihar Administrative Services have been deployed to ensure seamless crowd management and security at the venue.

Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena on Saturday held a high-level review meeting with top district officials to assess the preparedness and coordinate among various departments. The meeting focused on finalising arrangements related to security, traffic control, medical aid, and emergency response systems.

Senior administrative and police officials have been directed to remain on-site and oversee real-time operations during the rally. Surveillance through drones and CCTV cameras will be intensified, and multiple entry and exit points will be manned to manage the large turnout expected for the Prime Minister’s address.

This rally, part of the BJP’s intensified campaign efforts ahead of upcoming elections, is being closely watched not just for its political implications but also for the scale of public participation it is likely to draw. With Siwan considered a politically sensitive district, the administration is leaving no room for lapses.
