Property Dealer Gunned Down in Nalanda, Killers Escape on Bike

Razi Ahmed was shot multiple times by bike-borne attackers while out for a walk near his home in Nalanda.

Nalanda: A shocking murder took place in Nalanda district of Bihar on Friday evening when 44-year-old property dealer Razi Ahmed was shot dead near a mosque in Panhesa village. He was walking outside his house with a friend when three masked men on a motorcycle fired several bullets at him and fled.

Eyewitnesses said the attackers had been waiting for Ahmed and fired 6 to 7 rounds. Five bullets hit him directly. Local people rushed him to a private clinic, but doctors declared him dead. The police later sent his body to Model Hospital Bihar Sharif for postmortem.

Razi Ahmed worked in land and property dealings. While the exact reason for the murder is not known, police suspect it may be related to a land transaction. His family members said he had no known disputes or enemies in the area.

Senior police officers, including Rajgir DSP Sunil Kumar Singh and teams from Nalanda and Silav police stations, reached the spot and have started an investigation. CCTV cameras in the area are being checked and raids are being carried out to catch the attackers.
