Patna: Bihar YouTuber and leader Manish Kashyap has announced that he will join Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj Party on July 7. Manish shared a picture on social media showing him giving a copy of the Indian Constitution to Prashant Kishore. In his post, he wrote, “I have decided to participate in creating a new Bihar by walking with Prashant Kishore ji, who is an inspiration for crores of youth.”
Manish Kashyap is now planning to contest from the Chanpatia seat in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. He said he discussed this decision with his supporters and well-wishers before announcing it. Earlier, Manish was with the BJP, but he explained why he left the party. He said that when he was beaten up in public in the PMCH incident, no BJP leader even called to ask about his condition. He felt that the party remained silent on his injustice, which was against his self-respect.
Manish also said he had joined the BJP only because his mother wished for it. However, now he feels that it is not possible to raise the problems of common people strongly while being in such a big party. This is why he decided to leave BJP and join Jan Suraj.
Jan Suraj, led by Prashant Kishore, is attracting many young people in Bihar. Leaders in the party believe that Manish Kashyap joining them will give their campaign a big boost ahead of the 2025 assembly elections.
