Patna: Sanitation workers under Patna Municipal Corporation have been mobilised to collect voter counting forms from residents across all wards, following directives from the District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate to complete the process within the set timeline.
All six executive officers of the corporation have been instructed to get the work done efficiently through 375 sanitation supervisors and 75 sanitation inspectors. Each sanitation inspector has been directed to maintain constant coordination with the concerned BLO supervisors, while the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) remain in touch with executive officers to ensure seamless progress.
Officials said the Election Commission of India has also provided an online facility for voters to fill out enumeration forms and upload documents through voters.eci.gov.in and the ECINet app, enabling people to complete the process easily from home.
The District Magistrate emphasised that as per the commission’s schedule, the process must be completed by July 26. The draft voter list will be published on August 1, and voters who fail to submit their forms by the deadline will not be included in the draft.
Appealing to voters to submit their forms at the earliest, the District Magistrate said microplanning is being carried out as per Election Commission guidelines to ensure the revision campaign runs smoothly in Patna district.

To accelerate the distribution and collection of counting forms under booths numbered 159 to 207 across four assembly constituencies—Digha, Bankipur, Kumhrar, Patna Sahib—and Phulwari assembly constituency, several training sessions have been held. Cleaning supervisors, cleaning inspectors, nodal officers, executive officers, AEROs, and EROs have undergone multiple rounds of training at Gyan Bhawan, with an orientation workshop and review meeting conducted on Wednesday to expedite the campaign.
