Patna: An awareness programme on diabetes and lifestyle diseases was held on Tuesday at the police lines in Lodipur, Patna. It was organised by Aastha Foundation to teach people how to stay healthy in simple ways. Many police personnel and local residents attended the event.
Dr Diwakar Tejaswi, Medical Director and Senior Physician of PAHAL (Public Awareness for Healthy Approach for Living), gave important health tips during his speech. He said that a regular morning walk keeps the body strong and helps prevent diseases like diabetes. He also said that people should eat on time, sleep well and exercise daily.
According to Dr Tejaswi, boosting immunity is very important to stay healthy. He advised everyone to stay close to nature, avoid junk food and keep smiling to reduce stress. “Healthy lifestyle is the real medicine,” he said, adding that these simple habits can protect people from many illnesses.
Members of Aastha Foundation, including Purushottam Singh, Dharmendra Kumar and Neeraj Kumar, were also present. They appreciated the doctor’s message and urged everyone to adopt a healthy lifestyle. They said that such programmes will continue to spread awareness in Patna.
