Muzaffarpur: A new digital system has started in Muzaffarpur district for land registration. Now, after registering land, buyers and sellers will get a link on their mobile phones to download the registration document. They can use this link to download and print the document easily without waiting for long.
Earlier, only the buyer received the document, and that too late in the evening or the next day after registration. The seller often did not get the document, which sometimes caused confusion and disputes about the land details. With the new system, both the buyer and seller will get the document link at the same time.
This change has been made to bring more transparency to land registration work. Officials say that now no matter how many buyers or sellers are involved, everyone will get the document instantly after registration. This is expected to reduce disputes and make the process smoother for people.
However, officials have advised both parties to check all details carefully before signing the documents. Once the registration is completed and scanned, no changes can be made. The new system scans and uploads the document immediately when the registry is done, making the entire process faster and easier.
