Buxar: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Initiates Rs 11.75 Crore Development Project for Baba Brahmeshwar Sthan Temple

Buxar – Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar marked a significant moment by inaugurating the phase-1 development of the Baba Brahmeshwar Sthan temple in Buxar district. He also laid the foundation stone for the second phase during a ceremony.

The Chief Minister commenced the inauguration by offering prayers at the Baba Brahmeshwar Sthan temple, seeking blessings for the prosperity and well-being of the state. During his visit, he inspected not only the temple but also the adjacent pond within the temple complex.

The development and beautification endeavor for the Baba Brahmeshwar Sthan temple complex, amounting to Rs 9 crore 58 lakh, was officially launched. The project includes the construction of a boundary wall surrounding the temple complex and the restoration of an ancient pond spread across 5 acres. Renovation of public toilets and changing rooms, as well as the installation of a welcome gate, aims to enhance the overall experience for devotees visiting the temple.

Simultaneously, the foundation stone for the second phase of development, costing Rs 2 crore 17 lakh, was laid. This phase aims to address the growing number of devotees by constructing two additional gates in the north and south directions, beautifying the surroundings, establishing a boundary wall on the western side, and implementing electrification and lighting. These enhancements are expected to elevate the temple’s aesthetic appeal and provide greater convenience to devotees.

Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey honored Chief Minister Nitish Kumar by presenting him the emblem of Baba Brahmeshwarnath Temple. The Tourism Department Secretary, Abhay Kumar Singh, welcomed the Chief Minister and briefed him on the comprehensive development plan for the Brahmeshwar Sthan temple complex.

The ceremony was attended by Union Minister Choubey, Building Construction Minister Ashok Chaudhary, Ranchi High Court Judge SN Pathak, former Minister Santosh Kumar Nirala, former Minister Ajit Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Anupam Kumar, Patna Division Commissioner cum Building Construction Department Secretary Kumar Ravi, Buxar District Magistrate Anshul Aggarwal, Buxar Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar, and various other local public representatives and dignitaries.
