Owaisi’s Jab: Lalu-Nitish’s 3-Decade Reign Questioned, PM’s Dubai Embrace Mocked
Purnia: Asaduddin Owaisi, the chief of AIMIM, delivered a fiery speech at a public gathering in Purnia following his address in Kishanganj on Saturday. Taking the stage at Dagrua High School in Kishanganj Lok Sabha constituency, Owaisi launched scathing verbal assaults on Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and RJD supremo Lalu Yadav.
Owaisi questioned the achievements of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav, alleging that both leaders had collectively governed for three decades with little to show for it. He warned against the growing influence of the BJP in the country and criticized four MLAs who had defected to the RJD, labeling them as dishonest.
During his impassioned address, Owaisi took aim at PM Narendra Modi, accusing him of making grandiose claims about winning 370 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. He also criticized Modi’s cordial meeting with a Sheikh in Dubai, likening it to a fraternal embrace and urging the PM to extend similar gestures to Biklis Bano, a victim of tragedy whom Owaisi mentioned.
In addition to targeting political opponents, Owaisi advocated for the rightful place of Muslims in Indian politics and pledged to stand against any legislation that contradicts Islamic law. He praised the progress made by Yadavs in Bihar and contrasted it with the plight of the impoverished in Seemanchal.
Further, Owaisi lambasted Dr. Javed, the MP from Kishanganj, for allegedly neglecting the issue of constructing an airport in Purnia. He called for support for Akhtarul Iman as MP from Kishanganj, highlighting Iman’s advocacy for Bihar and asserting that he would represent the state’s interests effectively.
