St. Michael’s Alumni Association Elects New Office Bearers at Annual General Meeting
Patna: The premises of St. Michael’s High School reverberated with nostalgia and camaraderie as the esteemed institution hosted the annual general meeting of the St. Michael’s Alumni Association (SMAA) on Sunday evening. The event, graced by the presence of the school’s Rector, Father Norbert Menezes, and Principal, Father Christu Savarirajan S.J., marked the election of new office bearers for the association.
Vivek Sinha took charge as President for the year, Dr Vikas Shankar secured the position of president-elect, while Pandey Sanjay Prasad was elected as vice-president. Dr. Abhishek Basuki assumed the role of secretary, with Sunny Agrawal as joint secretary, and Anshul Ratna taking on the responsibilities of treasurer. Notably, all five new office- bearers were elected unopposed, signaling unity and consensus within the alumni community.
“The general body meeting of SMAA witnessed a significant turnout of former students, including senior advocates from the Patna High Court, esteemed doctors, and professionals from diverse sectors. The occasion also served as a platform to honor the achievements of alumni, with special recognition bestowed upon the 1974 batch for their golden jubilee and the 1999 batch for their silver jubilee,” said Dr. Shankar.
The event encapsulated a spirit of camaraderie and nostalgia as alumni from various graduating classes gathered to reminisce about their shared experiences at St. Michael’s High School.
