Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to embark on a significant two-day visit to Bihar, commencing on May 12. A highlight of his visit will be a grand roadshow through the streets of Patna, scheduled for the first day.
Preparations are underway in full swing for the event, with barricading activities unfolding at various points along the route earmarked for the Prime Minister’s passage. The Patna Police and District Administration teams are diligently orchestrating all security arrangements to ensure a smooth and secure procession.
The route plan for PM Modi’s roadshow has been meticulously charted out. According to available information, PM Modi will touch down at Patna airport at 6 pm, after which his roadshow will commence from the Ambedkar statue near the High Court at 7 pm. The procession, spanning approximately half an hour, will culminate at JP Golambar situated at Gandhi Maidan.
The route will wind its way through significant intersections, including Dakbungalow, Exhibition Road, Bhattacharya Mor, Kadamkuan, Thakurbari Road, Bakarganj, and finally, Gandhi Maidan leading to JP Golambar. During the roadshow, the Prime Minister is expected to engage with the public, rallying support for BJP candidates contesting from Pataliputra and Patna Sahib parliamentary constituencies.
PM Modi’s overnight stay in Patna marks a historic first, with preparations underway at Raj Bhavan to welcome him. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar is set to extend greetings, with menus being curated for the occasion.
The following day, on May 13, PM Modi is scheduled to preside over three consecutive meetings. The first gathering will take place in Hajipur, where he will seek votes for Chirag Paswan. Subsequently, Modi will address gatherings in Muzaffarpur and Saran, the latter being a significant constituency where BJP candidate Rajiv Pratap Rudy contests against Lalu Prasad’s daughter, Rohini Acharya.
PM Modi’s forthcoming visit adds to his campaign trail across Bihar during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. He has already addressed seven meetings across various districts, underscoring the state’s strategic significance in the electoral landscape.
