Patna: Report Waterlogging Issues on WhatsApp; Quick Response Teams to Address Complaints
Patna: 19 Quick Response Teams will be placed across all 75 wards of Patna to tackle the issue of waterlogging. The Urban Development and Housing Minister Nitin Nabin flagged off the vehicles on Wednesday at the Maurya Lok Complex, the headquarters of the Patna Municipal Corporation.
The event was attended by Mayor Sita Sahu, Deputy Mayor Reshmi Kumari, and Municipal Commissioner Animesh Kumar Parashar.
Minister Nitin Nabin emphasized the proactive measures taken by the Patna Municipal Corporation to address waterlogging. He highlighted the collective responsibility to support these efforts, noting that the active involvement of councilors and officials in their respective wards would help mitigate various problems.
The Municipal Corporation has introduced a WhatsApp chatbot for residents to report waterlogging issues directly. By sending a “Hi” message to 9264447449, citizens can register complaints. The chatbot provides options for language selection and a list of services. Residents can register their complaints by selecting the relevant option and sharing their location and photos related to the issue.
