Patna: The second day of Technika 2026, the annual techno-cultural festival of Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Patna, saw the campus buzzing with energy as students demonstrated technical skill, creativity and cultural flair.
The day began with a series of technical competitions that drew both participation and attention. Events such as Ampere Assemble, a circuit-building challenge, tested students’ electronics expertise, while high-adrenaline contests like Robo War and Robo Soccer thrilled spectators with strategic robot battles. Engineering ingenuity was further highlighted in Tall Tower and the Utility Machine Demonstration, showcasing teamwork, problem-solving and innovative design.

Alongside these technical showcases, a rich lineup of creative and cultural events offered students a platform for artistic expression. Competitions ranged from Pencil Sketch and Speed Cubing to BGMI (LAN) and Real Cricket, while literary and theatrical talent shone through Kavi Sammelan (poetry recital) and Ekanki (mono act). The street theatre performance Hulchul delivered powerful social messages, complemented by musical performances in Music Marvel and Raag Unreleased, which captivated the audience with instrumental and solo singing renditions. The evening concluded with Fashion Insta, a display of glamour and style, marking a vibrant end to the day.

All Day Two competitions have been completed, with final results scheduled for announcement on the concluding day of the festival. Attention now turns to the Grand Pro-Nite, featuring a live performance by Bollywood playback singer Mohammad Irfan, whose emotive voice is expected to provide a memorable finale to the celebrations.
Technika 2026 continues to celebrate youthful energy, technical innovation, and cultural talent, offering participants and audiences alike a unique blend of learning, creativity and entertainment.
