Patna Women’s College Enhances Student Career Prospects with Employability Skills Lecture
Patna: The Department of Computer Science and Applications at Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, organized a guest lecture on employability skills on Thursday, at Carmel Hall. The event was designed to equip students with the essential skills needed to excel in today’s competitive job market.
The guest speaker, Ashish Kumar Singh, President of Smart Foundation, brought his expertise in education and professional development to the lecture. Singh shared valuable insights on key employability skills, including effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability.
In addition to his lecture, Singh conducted mock interviews, providing students with hands-on experience and practical advice on navigating job interviews. This interactive component was particularly beneficial for students pursuing MCA and PGDCA programs, offering them a chance to apply their learning in a simulated environment.
The session was both engaging and informative, with active participation from the students throughout. Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head of the Department, along with faculty members from the MCA department, were present to support the event.
