Darbhanga: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) National President Lalu Prasad on Saturday visited the residence of VIP chief and former minister Mukesh Sahni in Biraul, Darbhanga, to express his condolences on the passing of Sahni’s father, Jeetan Sahni.
Arriving directly from Patna, Lalu met with Mukesh Sahni, offering his sympathy and condolences. He paid tribute to the late Jeetan Sahni by laying flowers before a painting of him.
Addressing the gathering, Lalu emphasized that the RJD family stands in solidarity with the VIP chief during this difficult time. He extended his condolences, wishing peace for the departed soul and a place in heaven.
In his remarks, Lalu described the death of Jeetan Sahni as a murder, calling it a heinous crime. He demanded strict punishment for those responsible, emphasizing that severe penalties should be meted out to deter such acts.
The RJD National President was accompanied by senior party leaders Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Shyam Rajak, and Sameer Mahaseth.
