Six Bihar Teachers Nominated for National Teacher Award 2024
Patna: The Education Department of Bihar has recommended six teachers for the prestigious National Teacher Award 2024. The names of these educators have been forwarded to the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for consideration. The nominees include four male and two female teachers, recognized for their exceptional contributions to the field of education.
The names of the nominated teachers were officially sent online to the Central Government. On Saturday, Mithilesh Mishra, Director of Primary Education, conducted a video conference with the selected teachers to discuss the nomination process.
The recommended teachers are:
Sikendra Kumar Suman, In-charge Headmaster of New Primary School, Tarhani, Kudra, Kaimur district.
Mary Adeline, Assistant Teacher at Higher Secondary School, Dumaria Estate, Narkatiaganj, West Champaran district.
Ranjan Kumar, Assistant Teacher at Upgraded Middle School, Hamejabharat, Sirdala, Nawada district.
Dr. Meenakshi Kumari, Assistant Teacher at Ganga Balika Plus Two High School, Madhubani district.
Dr. Shashi Bhushan Shahi, Assistant Teacher at Upkramit Madhya Vidyalaya, Tesuar, Ekma, Saran district.
