Patna, March 28, 2026: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inspected various ongoing projects in Patna city and directed speedy completion. The Chief Minister inspected the construction site of the Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan Park (Bihar Gaurav Park) being constructed near the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Samadhi Sthal. The Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan Park near Bans Ghat in Patna is being constructed in honor of the Loknayak.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister urged that this park be constructed in a proper manner near the Samadhi Sthal of Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The construction of this park will greatly benefit the people of this area. On one side of this theme park is the Samadhi Sthal of Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad, while on the other side is the JP Ganga Path, providing a truly picturesque view.

It is noteworthy that the Bihar Gaurav Park is being constructed on 10 acres of land between the samadhi site of the country’s first President, Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad, and the J.P. Ganga Path. This park will showcase various elements of Bihar’s glorious history and culture. The theme park will feature inspiring stories of Bihar’s great figures: Aryabhatta, Chanakya, Emperor Ashoka, Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan, and Dashrath Manjhi.
