Patna/Begusarai: The Bihar government has launched the “Sahyog Shivir” initiative under Saat Nischay Yojana-3 with an aim to strengthen grievance redressal mechanisms at the Panchayat level and improve accessibility to public services.
The programme, guided by the stated vision of “Sabka Samman, Jeevan Aasaan,” seeks to ensure faster and more transparent disposal of citizen complaints through both offline camps and an online system.
Camps Conducted in Begusarai
During the first phase of the initiative in Begusarai district, Secretary of the Industries Department and district in-charge secretary Kundan Kumar visited grievance camps held in several Panchayats, including Mohanpur Panchayat under Navkothi Block and Kumbhi Panchayat under Cheria Bariarpur Block.

Officials said he reviewed the disposal process on site, interacted with residents, and directed concerned departments to ensure timely resolution of pending applications.
Application Disposal Data
According to district-level figures, 2,036 online applications have been received from 24 Gram Panchayats so far.
Out of these, 1,360 applications have been disposed of, while 669 cases are currently under process. Officials also confirmed that grievances received through offline camps have been resolved.
On the first day of the programme, Kumbhi Panchayat received 164 applications, of which 142 were resolved. Maheshwara Panchayat recorded 160 applications with 139 disposed of, while Mohanpur Panchayat received 154 applications, out of which 135 were resolved.

Monthly Camp Schedule and Digital Access
The government has announced that “Sahyog Shivir” camps will be organised in all Panchayats on the first and third Tuesday of every month.
Alongside physical camps, citizens can submit complaints at any time through the “Sahyog Portal,” which is designed to support continuous grievance submission and tracking.
Officials said the combined offline and digital approach is intended to make governance more responsive and strengthen accountability at the grassroots level.
