Patna: The NSS Unit of Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University hosted a workshop on Health and Nutrition in honor of National Nutrition Month. Ms. Priya Dubey, Head of the Department of Dietetics at Jay Prabha Medanta Hospital, served as the resource person. She highlighted the principles of a balanced diet and stressed the importance of promoting balanced nutrition, physical activity, and access to essential resources.
The workshop included expert-led sessions, meal planning tools, and nutrition education aimed at reducing diet-related illnesses and improving overall quality of life. The focus was on empowering participants to make healthier dietary choices and build a stronger, healthier future.
Under the guidance of NSS Program Officers Dr. Amrita and Dr. Shahla Rehana, the event successfully provided valuable information and practical tools to support better health and nutrition for young women.
