Supaul: Prashant Kishore, the architect behind Jan Suraaj, brought attention to the dire situation facing the youth during his padayatra through Pratapganj block in Supaul district. Speaking to the local residents, Kishore accused them of prioritizing political dynasties over the future of their own children. He remarked that while efforts are being made to secure leadership positions for Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son, the children of ordinary families are being forced to seek labor jobs outside the state.

Kishore emphasized that despite their education, many young people in Bihar are struggling to find even the most basic jobs, like that of a peon. He criticized voters for making decisions based on caste and religion, suggesting that this has contributed to the economic struggles of their children. According to him, Bihar’s youth are forced into labor because voters focus more on political symbols than on the welfare of their families.

Addressing the crowd, Kishore further remarked on the widespread admiration for political figures like Narendra Modi, known for his “56-inch chest,” but lamented that the physical and economic conditions of local children were deteriorating. He urged people to become more selfish for the sake of their children’s future and to vote with their well-being in mind, rather than along caste and religious lines.

The padayatra, which started in Suryapur village, saw Kishore meeting with locals in Parsa Birbal, Tekuna, Bhawanipur, and other areas. Along the way, he was welcomed with garlands, drums, and fireworks. Many young people joined the journey, signaling the support of the youth for his movement.
