Railways to Run Delhi-Patna Gati Shakti Train to Tackle Festival Rush

Patna: In light of the festive rush, East Central Railways has decided to run more special trains for the convenience of passengers. Among these is the announcement of the 02246/02245 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Gati Shakti festival superfast special train, set to provide enhanced connectivity between Patna and New Delhi during the festival period.
Train number 02246, New Delhi-Patna Gati Shakti Festival Superfast Special Express, will departure from New Delhi at 11.45pm on November 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 17. This train is scheduled to arrive at various junctions, including Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Ara before reaching its final destination at Patna Junction by3.50pm the following day.
Conversely, the Patna-New Delhi Gati Shakti Festival Superfast Special Express, train number- 02245, is set to depart from Patna on November 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, and 18 at 7pm. The train’s journey will see stopovers at various stations such as Ara, Buxar, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj, and Kanpur Central before reaching New Delhi at 10.30am the following day.
The introduction of these special festival trains aims to provide enhanced travel experience and smoother transit experiences for passengers traveling between New Delhi and Patna during the festival period.
