Phase-2 recruitment efforts will primarily target teaching roles within secondary and high schools, adhering to guidelines provided by the Education Department and the Backward and Most Backward Classes.

Application Period and No Room for Corrections

As per the timeline provided by the Commission, the registration process for the second phase of BPSC school teacher recruitment is set to commence on November 5 and will run until November 14. The window for online applications is slated to open on November 10 and will firmly close on November 25, with no provisions for extensions or opportunities for corrections.

A Glimpse Back at Phase-1

This announcement comes on the heels of the release of results for the first phase of examinations, which sought to fill a significant 1,70,461 school teacher vacancies across Bihar. The selected teachers have already received provisional appointment letters, marking a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to bolster its teaching workforce.

Appointment Ceremony at Gandhi Maidan

On November 2, the newly chosen educators were ceremoniously presented with their appointment letters at the iconic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The first phase of examinations, conducted from August 24 to August 26, has been accompanied by detailed information on merit lists, district-wise allocations, scorecards, and cut-off marks, all of which have already been made public.
