Patna: Motihari is set to host two major events from September 1 to 3, with Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary scheduled to inaugurate both programmes. The district administration has completed preparations for the events, which will also feature the launch and foundation-laying of development projects worth around Rs 300 crore.
Bapudham Mahotsav to Feature National-Level Artists
The Bapudham Mahotsav, organised by the district administration, will feature performances by several artists from across the country. Popular singers including Maithili Thakur, Kareena Pandey and Salman Ali are expected to perform during the three-day festival.
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation for various development projects for the district during the event.
Barua Ghat Bridge Inauguration Planned
As part of the development initiatives, the inauguration of the Barua Ghat Bridge in the Harsiddhi Assembly constituency is also proposed.
The bridge is expected to improve connectivity and make daily travel easier for people in the surrounding areas once it becomes operational.
Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Fair
Alongside the cultural festival, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra will organise an Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Entrepreneurs’ Fair.
The fair will bring together farmers and entrepreneurs associated with agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries. Participants will be able to learn about new technologies, government schemes and emerging opportunities in these sectors.
District Administration Completes Preparations
The district administration has been making extensive arrangements for both events. District Magistrate Saurabh Suman Yadav has reviewed preparations and shared details related to the programmes.
Officials are working to ensure that the events are conducted smoothly and that the inauguration and foundation-laying programmes are carried out as scheduled.
