Madhubani Road Rage: Youth Left Seriously Injured After Stabbing Over Collision
Madhubani: A youth was stabbed and injured by bike-borne miscreants in broad daylight on Sunday. The incident, which left the victim with serious injuries to his face and head, occurred near Vasan School under the Nagar Police Station jurisdiction. The injured youth has been identified as Bablu Mandal, who was subsequently admitted to the hospital.
According to Bablu, the attack began when the bike-borne youths collided with his car, which was parked on the roadside. When Bablu objected to the collision and asked for compensation for the damages, the assailants began beating him. During the assault, Bablu was stabbed approximately seven times. Despite a crowd gathering at the scene, no one intervened to assist him, and the attackers continued their assault.
Victim Bablu Mandal recounted the incident, stating, “I was standing with my car parked in front of Vasan School when two bike-borne youths came speeding from behind and collided with my car while overtaking a truck. When I asked them for money to compensate for the damage, they refused and began to beat me.”
Bablu continued, “After that, they called another friend, and all three of them started hitting me. During the attack, one of the youths began stabbing me near my head and face. I eventually fell down, and they all fled the scene.”
City Police Station Chief Satendra Kumar confirmed the incident, stating, “After receiving information about the attack, we apprehended all three youths and brought them to the police station. The arrested individuals have been identified as Vishwas Mishra (22), Vaibhav Mishra (21), and Shani Bari (20). The legal process against the accused is underway. At present, we have not received any application from the victim.”
