Madhubani/Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary visited the historic Raj Parisar in Rajnagar, Madhubani, on Sunday, where he reviewed the area’s heritage and religious significance and offered prayers at the Kamakhya Temple.
The Chief Minister arrived in Rajnagar by helicopter at around 3:14 pm, where he was received by administrative officials.
DM Briefs CM on Historical Heritage
Following his arrival, the district administration held a meeting with the Chief Minister. The District Magistrate briefed him about the historical importance of the Raj Parisar, its prominent heritage sites and ongoing and proposed development-related aspects.
The DM also explained the significance of the historical and religious sites located within the complex and highlighted its rich heritage.
CM Inspects Historical and Religious Sites
After the briefing, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary toured the Raj Parisar and inspected various historical and religious sites.
At around 3:24 pm, he reached the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) camp before proceeding to the Kamakhya Temple.
Samrat Chaudhary Offers Prayers at Kamakhya Temple
The Chief Minister offered prayers at the Kamakhya Mata Temple and sought the blessings of the deity.
During the visit, Mahendra Ram, who has received a national award, presented a bouquet to the Chief Minister outside the temple. Chaudhary also interacted with him briefly.
CM Leaves for Pilkhwar
After visiting the Raj Parisar and offering prayers at the temple, the Chief Minister left for Pilkhwar, where he is scheduled to attend a Shraddha ceremony at the residence of Shiv Kumar Mishra.
Special security arrangements were made by the district administration in view of the Chief Minister’s visit.
