Yellow alerts have been issued for West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Saharsa, Madhepura and Katihar.
Several districts in north Bihar and the Seemanchal region are likely to experience rain, thunderstorms and strong winds during the day.
September 9: Rain Alert Extends to South Bihar
On September 9, the weather alert is expected to shift further, with several districts in south-west and central Bihar also coming under the yellow alert.
West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan and Saran will continue to remain under alert. The warning will also cover Buxar, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Arwal, Jehanabad, Patna, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Nawada and Gaya.
