Midnight Recce of MP Pappu Yadav’s Residence in Madhepura, Suspect Arrested in Delhi for Threat Call

Patna/ Madhepura: Purnia MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav continues to face a string of death threats. Authorities in Delhi have arrested a suspect believed to be linked to the calls threatening Yadav’s life.

Yadav told reporters that his residence in Madhepura had been under watch, and he shared CCTV footage that showed suspicious individuals near his home who eventually drove away. He stated that the threats began on the 14th of this month.

According to Yadav, his house in Khurda, Madhepura, has been under surveillance. He shared video footage showing unknown individuals around the property. On the night of October 30 and 31, while Yadav was at his Khurda residence, unidentified persons were spotted loitering near the house. Yadav also revealed that similar suspicious activity had been observed outside his home in Purnia, further heightening concerns about his safety.

Meanwhile, Police made an arrest in Delhi after Yadav reported receiving threatening phone calls. While the suspect’s identity has not been made public, Yadav claimed to have received multiple threats from various phone numbers. He further revealed that a man named Mayank had repeatedly contacted him from Malaysia, warning him to back down or face serious consequences.

In addition to expressing concern for his own safety, Yadav said that his house in Khurda, Madhepura, was observed just two days prior and that members of his family had also been threatened.

Yadav questioned the suspect’s credibility, remarking that it seemed far-fetched for someone to make threatening calls from Malaysia or Canada using a relative’s number. He speculated that the individual could be trying to disguise their identity or acting irrationally.

The continuous threats have sparked serious concerns over Yadav and his family’s safety, leading to calls for enhanced security measures. While the investigation is ongoing, Yadav remains on alert, urging authorities to dig deeper into the origins of the threats.
