Indian Women’s Hockey Team Tours Rajgir’s Glass Bridge Ahead of Asian Champions Trophy
Rajgir: The Indian women’s hockey team, set to compete in the upcoming Asian Women’s Hockey Champions Trophy, enjoyed a day of sightseeing at Rajgir’s Glass Bridge on Wednesday, courtesy of the Nalanda district administration. The team, joined by the competition’s trophy, took in the views and posed for photos on the bridge, an attraction designed by the Bihar government to boost local tourism.
The Asian Women’s Hockey Champions Trophy will take place from November 11 to 20 at the State Sports Academy and Sports Complex in Rajgir. Organized by the Bihar State Sports Authority, the tournament will feature six teams: India, China, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand.
Expressing their excitement, the Indian players praised Bihar’s efforts to promote tourism and enjoyed their visit to one of the state’s standout attractions ahead of the competition.
