Search Launched After Intelligence Input
According to the SSB, personnel received information that suspicious items had been concealed in an orchard near Fatehpur village, approximately 700 metres inside Indian territory from Border Pillar No. 204.
Acting on the information, a team from the 45th Battalion’s Fatehpur Border Outpost was dispatched to the location.
The personnel conducted a thorough search of the identified area and found 13 bundles of ganja hidden in the mango orchard. The total weight of the seized substance was approximately 510 kg.
No Suspect Found During Search
After recovering the contraband, SSB personnel searched the surrounding area for suspected smugglers. However, no suspicious person was found at the scene.
