Patna: The Bihar softball team’s training camp for the Senior East Zone Women’s and Men’s Softball Championship will commence on November 17 at Ramna Ground in Saran Sonpur. This competition, scheduled from November 29 to December 1, 2024, will take place in Cooch Behar, West Bengal.
The camp will begin at 9 a.m., as announced by Gautam Kanada, President of the Softball Association of Bihar. Following the camp, 16 women and 16 men players will be selected to represent Bihar in the championship. The final team is set to depart for Cooch Behar on November 28.
Prachi Sharma, General Secretary of the Association, emphasised that the camp will focus on refining player skills and preparing the team for the competitive tournament. The entire training session will be overseen by association trainers Bipin Kumar and Pramod Kumar, ensuring that players receive expert guidance.
Saran’s secretary, Uday Kumar Yadav, has been designated as the camp coordinator to support the smooth organisation of the training event. This camp marks a significant step for the Bihar team as they gear up for the regional competition.
