Patna: Dry weather and clear skies are expected to continue across Bihar, with no significant changes in day or night temperatures forecast over the next five days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
There is no likelihood of rainfall across the state over the next seven days, and no weather warnings have been issued for any district up to October 27.
Sunny afternoons are likely to bring mild warmth, while mornings and evenings will continue to feel slightly cooler. Light fog may develop in some areas during the early morning hours.
Day-Night Temperature Difference Continues
A difference of around 10°C to 15°C between daytime and nighttime temperatures is currently being recorded in Bihar.
According to the forecast, minimum temperatures across the state are expected to range between 20°C and 22°C, while maximum temperatures may remain between 30°C and 32°C.
The sky is likely to remain clear throughout the day, with dry conditions prevailing across the state.
Meteorologists said a further increase in cold conditions would depend on falling nighttime temperatures and changes in wind direction and speed. The arrival of stronger north-westerly winds could lead to a decline in temperatures.
Possible Weather Systems Over Seas
Meteorologists have reported no active weather systems currently affecting Bihar.
However, a cyclonic circulation may develop in the upper atmosphere over the south-eastern Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea between October 22 and 28, potentially leading to the formation of a low-pressure area.
Increased atmospheric activity is also possible over the south-eastern Arabian Sea and Lakshadweep. However, no warnings have been issued regarding any potential impact on Bihar.
