St. Michael’s High School Annual Day Celebrates Unity in Diversity with “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” Theme

Patna: St. Michael’s High School (Primary Section) captivated its audience during the Annual Day Celebration with a vibrant performance centered on the theme Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – “The world is one family.” The event highlighted the importance of unity amidst diversity through imaginative storytelling and cultural performances, leaving the audience inspired by the message of shared humanity and mutual respect.

The program featured a heartfelt monologue by Doraemon, emphasizing that despite differences in culture, language, and beliefs, all individuals are united as part of a global family. The performance concluded with a powerful call for fostering peace, empathy, and cooperation, urging the audience to embrace the shared values of love and compassion to achieve harmony in an interconnected world.

The school also honored the exceptional achievements of its students in academics, sports, arts, and music. Awards were presented to recognize their dedication and hard work. The principal congratulated the awardees and encouraged all students to continue striving for excellence, highlighting the importance of holistic development in education.

The event commenced with a ceremonial welcome, including a guard of honor for the Chief Guest, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Singh (DM Patna), and other dignitaries. Saplings were presented as a gesture of appreciation, and the school anthem set a positive tone for the celebration. Sister Magdali Beck expressed gratitude to all contributors, from parents and teachers to technical staff and organizers, for making the event a success.
