Patna: The All India Professional Examination, November-2024 (Phase II of the mains examination for leftover candidates), commenced across 38 districts of Bihar on November 25. The practical exams will continue until November 29, 2024. A total of 408 candidates appeared for the examination on the first day, while 97 were marked absent.

To ensure malpractice-free and peaceful conduct of the exams, the Labour Resources Department, under the guidance of Secretary Deepak Anand, has implemented strict monitoring measures. Flying squads comprising armed forces, magistrates, and supervisors have been deployed for surprise inspections at the 53 examination centres across the state. Additionally, 35 district-level officers and headquarters-level officials have been assigned for monitoring.

A control room has been set up in the examination controller’s office to address complaints related to irregularities or malpractices. Complaints can be registered via the phone number 0612-2521162 or email at [email protected]. On the first day, reports from centre superintendents, magistrates, and flying squads indicated no incidents of malpractice, and the examination proceeded smoothly.

The department’s rigorous efforts to maintain transparency and fairness in the examination process have been effective so far. The initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to ensuring a fair and secure environment for all candidates appearing in the examinations.
