Patna: There is good news for the devotees of Bageshwar Baba in Bihar. Famous spiritual leader Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, known as Bageshwar Baba, is coming to Patna on 6 July. He will narrate Hanuman Katha at Gandhi Maidan as part of the Sanatan Mahakumbh. Preparations for his arrival are going on in full swing.
The Sanatan Mahakumbh is being organised by Shri Ram Karmabhoomi Trust. Former Union Minister Ashwini Choubey is the patron of this event. Many other famous saints, including Jagatguru Rambhadracharya, will also participate. A chariot has been sent to different districts to invite people for this mega religious gathering.
Bageshwar Baba has visited Bihar many times before. In May this year, he came to Muzaffarpur and narrated stories during a Mahayagya. Earlier, he visited Patna for a seven-day Yagna at Taret Math in the rural area, where thousands of people gathered to listen to him. He will reach Patna by a chartered plane for the upcoming event.
His visits often create political discussions too. During his last visit, Bageshwar Baba had said that Bihar will play a big role in making India a Hindu nation. He had also called people of Bihar “mad people” because of their strong devotion towards him. Despite such remarks, his followers eagerly wait for his spiritual discourses.
