Big Job Opportunity: BPSC to Recruit Over 7,279 for Government Posts in Bihar

Bihar Public Service Commission has announced more than 7,279 vacancies for teachers and other government jobs, with applications starting from July 2.

Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced a large recruitment drive for over 8,500 posts in various departments. The biggest announcement is for 7,279 teaching positions in special schools under the Education Department. Interested candidates can apply online from 2 July, and the last date to submit the form is 28 July. Applications must be filled through the official website – www.bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Rajesh Singh, the Examination Controller, said that these teacher jobs are part of a special education drive. He also advised candidates to read the full notification and all instructions carefully before applying to avoid any mistakes during the process.

In another major update, BPSC has increased the number of posts for the 71st Combined Preliminary Examination. Now, 1,264 posts will be filled through this exam. This includes top positions like 100 Senior Deputy Collectors, 79 Finance Administrative Officers (FAOs), and 14 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs). Earlier, a notification was issued for 1,250 posts, but the count has now been raised.

The Commission has also released the schedule for 12 major exams to be held by September 2025. One important exam is for the post of Assistant Engineers in civil, mechanical, and electrical streams. This exam will be held on 17, 18, and 19 July. BPSC has uploaded the syllabus and other details on its website to help students prepare in time.
